It doesn’t matter if we are living in the present, or thinking about the past or the future, there may come a time when we just want to move forward. Do you feel this way sometimes? That you just want to get out from under where you are? What does move forward mean? I think it means to let go of the thoughts we are thinking and/or the behavior we are exerting and change. In my book in the chapter on “Change,” I write about the positive effects of change….replacing old ideas with the new ones and as the changes occur letting go of the old defenses and attitudes that aren’t working for us anymore. In other words, “Moving Forward” to a new way of thinking and/or behaving. Move forward, don’t stay stuck if what you are thinking about or doing doesn’t work for you anymore.
